The NewControl project started with a kick-off meeting which took place on 27th – 28th of June 2019 at the headquarters of Infineon Technologies AG in the town of Neubiberg near Munich, Germany. The meeting was inaugurated by the project coordinator Jochen Koszescha (IFAG). The meeting continued with thought-provoking overviews of the critical issues related to technology areas given by Supply Chain Leaders. Work Package Leaders presented the planned work and tasks for the first year of the project. The main objectives of this meeting were to set the official start of the project, to establish connections between all partners, to provide clarifications about administrative aspects, and to define the specific work that each participant is going to fulfil during the project lifetime.
